About the Artist

Artist Elle Foley is a true renaissance woman. A trained architect with a BFA in painting, Elle is inspired by Nantucket’s big skies, lyrical clouds, and tucked away landscapes. Elle’s work translates details of reflected and refracted light, so that each canvas captures the unique quality of light that floods the island. The daughter of an art teacher and engineer, Elle’s paintings uniquely capture an analytical mind with an artist’s soul. Elle paints full-time between Florida and Nantucket, where she has been honored as a 25-year Lifetime Member of the Artists Association of Nantucket.

Elle’s paintings have appeared in many one person and group shows, among them the Salmagundi Club, National Arts Club, and the Oil Painters of America. She teaches painting en plein air on Nantucket and splits her time between Nantucket, New York City, and Florida. In the summer, she can be found along Nantucket’s brick sidewalks and beaches, capturing the ephemeral beauty of a summer’s day on her easel.

Ground Shipping:
Most purchases are shipped to arrive within 5 to 7 business days of receipt of the order.  
All orders from our inventory are shipped via UPS Ground. Furniture & Area Rug orders will be drop-shipped by our partners.

Expedited Shipping:
All orders placed before 12pm Monday-Friday will be shipped out the same day. Orders placed after 12pm Monday-Friday will be shipped out the morning of the next business day. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or holidays will be shipped the next business day.

This item is available for free on-island delivery & curbside pickup.

Returns & Exchanges:
If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly offer you an exchange or refund of the merchandise price within 30 days of receipt of product.
