Our cotton is sourced from the U.S.; Our mohair comes from the Angora Goat in South Africa; Our cashmere comes from the Kashmir goat found in the mountainous terrain of Asia; Alpaca is from the camelid breed sourced in South America.

Each project is unique and can take from one to five days to complete.

What kind of products do you weave ?

We are most well known for our throw blankets woven from natural fibers including cotton, mohair, alpaca, silk, cashmere and merino wool. We also make scarves, ponchos, small area rugs, napkins and placemats. We also weave fabric yardage.

What is so special about Nantucket Looms handwoven products ?

Each product is made by one weaver, start to finish. They choose the colors, thread each fiber through the loom, weave and finish each product. You may watch the process in our video found on the weaving page of our website .
