Happy Daffy!

Daffodil Festival on Nantucket is special because it marks the reawakening of the island for spring. After the grey of winter, Nantucket begins to bloom again and with it comes the reopening of restaurants and the arrival of seasonal workers and visitors. Being a year-round business on Nantucket's Main Street, we love to hear footsteps on the cobblestones and familiar faces returning to the shop once again.

This year, we were excited to welcome back both new and familiar faces and to debut our newly finished floors and 2016 merchandise. It was a beautiful, sunny day on Main Street and the springtime cheer could be felt all around! 

At Nantucket Looms, we always have the best seat in the house for the Daffodil Festival Antique Car Parad. Last year we took full advantage of that, sharing our Main Street view with the island through Nantucket's first ever 'Instameet'.
