The Seaside Green Alpaca Throw is woven in a palette inspired by clean, crisp coastal colors, evoking the iconic dune grass greens and rolling sands that define Nantucket’s shoreline. Three color elements have been implemented into the design: a saturated dune grass green as the dominant hue, natural sandy undertones that soften the pattern, and a gentle blue gray that adds a cool, balanced note. Handwoven from 100% Peruvian alpaca, the fiber delivers unparalleled softness, naturally hypoallergenic qualities, and exceptional performance. Naturally insulating, alpaca’s microscopic air pockets regulate temperature—keeping you cool on warm days and comfortably warm on cooler nights. Together, these elements create a timeless piece that balances classic pattern, material integrity, and enduring versatility.

Handwoven in our Main Street studio, this throw is thoughtfully made using time-honored techniques and premium natural fibers. Each piece reflects expert craftsmanship, with careful attention to detail—from the integrity of the weave to the hand-finished fringe and is completed by our skilled island weavers

How It's Made

Crafted by hand from start to finish in our Main Street weaving studio.

Our masterful artisans begin by thoughtfully selecting colors and fibers inspired by our surrounding landscape, then determine a pattern and desired weave structure for their design.

Next they wind the fiber onto bobbins then wind the loom’s warp, a meticulously calculated process that sets the path of each and every thread used. These threads are manually connected to specific harnesses and securely hand-tied to “dress the loom”. Once this stage is complete, they can begin to weave.

Countless passes of the shuttle commence, rhythmic, muted sounds of wooden pedals fill the studio and a beautiful textile begins to emerge. The handwoven process continues until the piece reaches its full length, at which point it is cut from the loom. Tassels are hand-knotted onto the ends, and a small label is hand-sewn onto the textile as the weaver’s final touch.

Ground Shipping:
Most purchases are shipped to arrive within 5 to 7 business days of receipt of the order.  Sorry, but we do not ship to P.O. or APO Boxes at this time.
All orders from our inventory are shipped via UPS Ground. Furniture & Area Rug orders will be drop-shipped by our partners.

Expedited Shipping:
All orders placed before 12pm Monday-Friday will be shipped out the same day. Orders placed after 12pm Monday-Friday will be shipped out the morning of the next business day. Orders placed on Saturday, Sunday or holidays will be shipped the next business day.

This item is available for free on-island delivery & curbside pickup.

Returns & Exchanges:

Do you ship overseas?

Yes, we ship all over the world. Shipping costs will apply, and will be added at checkout. We run discounts and promotions all year, so stay tuned for exclusive deals.

How long will it take to get my orders?

It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.
