The Contemporary Blue Aptware Plate Set brings a modern sensibility to an age‑old Provençal tradition. Each piece is created using terre mêlée, an 18th‑century French technique in which clay is infused with colored oxides to form intricate marbled patterns. The process involves sculpting, stamping, drying, sanding, and firing over several hours, resulting in plates with swirling blue‑and‑white designs that are never exactly alike. Layered together or used individually, they add an artful, collected feel to the table, or to a wall or a cupboard. Each is sold individually.

Expedited Shipping:
