For decades, the Grey Lady has been a muse for artists, writers, musicians and craftsman alike. Being surrounded by Nantucket's natural beauty everyday, it is impossible to ignore her influences. The blue of the crashing wave as it meets the tan sand, every green blade of seagrass, swaying in the wind, or the looming clouds of a passing storm, tempting artists to translate their energy into tangible works of art.
It is exactly these phenomenons that our weavers have spent the past 51 years capturing- weaving the island landscape into every handwoven. With highly selective color pairing and pattern exploration, we emulate the bursting colors, movement, and emotions that make our island the coveted destination that it is.
