Richard Kemble, a prolific artist, crafted over 350 print editions predominantly through intricate woodcuts. In his final two decades, he redirected his focus to art, pouring his creativity into homes in Key West and Nantucket.
Kemble's legacy endures through this exquisite piece, showcasing his unwavering passion and talent. Renowned for his series of 100 American flags fashioned from remnants of his woodcuttings, paint, and collage materials, he continued to produce these works periodically until his passing in 2007. Despite the absence of dates on his creations, collectors are continually intrigued by the mystery surrounding their origins, perpetuating the fascination with Kemble's timeless artistry.
