Rose Gonnella is a full professor and Associate Dean of the Michael Graves College at Kean University in the United States and Wenzhou‑Kean University in China. Before moving into academic leadership, she spent more than twenty‑five years teaching art and design, guiding students through fundamentals of form, color, design theory, materials, techniques, and creative thinking, as well as helping establish an early web‑design curriculum.
In her administrative roles, Gonnella has been a key facilitator in advancing the innovative programs within the Robert Busch School of Design. She played an integral part in bringing Michael Graves into the college’s vision and curriculum, in establishing the Sino‑American partnership that created Wenzhou‑Kean University, and in supporting students as they build meaningful, fulfilling careers.
