Curt Tyler's handcrafted salad hands have been our most highly recommended hostess gift since we began carrying them over 20 years ago. Originally from Palmer, MA, Curt began woodworking when he moved to Vermont in 1971. He started out making toys for a small wooden toy company before going on to have his own workshop, where he crafted ski racks, furniture, kitchen utensils, toys and desk accessories. In 1995, a friend of his daughter, Sara, brought a pair of his salad hands to Nantucket Looms… and the rest is history!
Hand-carved from cherry wood in this simple yet elegant design, Curt’s salad hands have become a Nantucket Looms classic. Not only are they an affordable price point, but they are extremely useful with a great design.
