With every brushstroke and contrasting color sweep,  MJ Levy-Dickson sets out to find an underlying rhythm in her work located at the intersection of reality, art and motion. She paints guided by intuition and often references the changing pace of instrumental music as an influence on how she uses the paintbrush. The result is a piece that exudes emotion and feeling, akin to the affect music can have on us. Rippling Through Polpis Fog is no exception. The light pastels, the undulating lines and lack of specific form not only loosely depict a recognizable island scene but encourage a feeling of serenity yet mystery with the Grey Lady rolling in.

Designed in the late 1960’s for Nantucket Looms, our classic boatneck sweater never goes out of style. Originally designed to be worn without a shirt underneath, the boatneck can be worn in a more fitted fashion or select the next size up for a looser fit. The saddle stitch shoulders and high boatneck collar are distinctive to this sweater. Unisex sizing.
